COVID-19 Protocols - Vancouver Ballet Society

The Vancouver Ballet Society continues to move forward in these unusual and unsettling times. While we are not doing most of our usual activities due to social distancing, we are doing our best to keep busy with ongoing projects and our archives. Since the beginning of the pandemic, VBS has been following the COVID guidelines of The Dance Centre. Currently, our office and library still remain closed to the public until further notice. Our administrator is in the office Mondays and Thursdays from 9:00am to 4:30pm.

Here are some of the COVID guidelines still in place at The Dance Centre, with more details on their website. 

• Masks are strongly recommended in the building and studios for anyone not fully vaccinated and/or in situations where physical distancing is difficult. 
• Physical distancing in the common areas and studios. We recommend that a 2.5 metre distance be kept between participants not in the same bubble, minimize or preferably avoid touching.
• All Master Classes will continue to be pre-registration only, with no drop-ins.
