Spring Seminar 2021 - Vancouver Ballet Society

In March of 2021, we were able to hold our annual Spring Seminar event despite the pandemic still being continuous. In March of 2020, unfortunately, we had to cancel the event as it approached. Luckily we were able to have it in a safe, positive manner this year. Throughout the week, we had 47 students total, split up into Intermediate and Advanced groups. Every group was able to experience taking Contemporary classes with Lesley Telford, and Classical Ballet classes with Patrick Howell. The week was a success, with lots of positive feedback from students and parents. On the last day, March 20th, we held a Zoom demonstration so guests could still be involved in the event. This is when we were able to present scholarships to 19 incredible dancers. VBS was so happy to have been able to hold Spring Seminar this year, and we are looking forward to next year.
